THIS NOTICE APPLIES TO STUDENTS WITH LEARNING ACCOMMODATIONS WHO WILL BE TAKING AN AP, ACT AND/OR SAT TEST THIS YEAR.
To use your school accommodations on any one of the tests listed above, the testing organization must approve the use of those accommodations. For example, a student who has extra time for STAAR testing and wants to take an ACT test with extended time must request and receive approval for that accommodation from the ACT.
Here are the steps:
- Register to take the ACT, SAT, or AP Exam.
While registering, note that you need accommodations.
Email firstname.lastname@example.org so he knows to upload your paperwork for approval.
The request only needs to be uploaded once to the College Board. Accommodation approvals from the College Board cover both the SAT and AP Tests.
