AP Testing

 

ATTENTION! Students and guardians should complete this registration/enrollment together. This is a two-step process and both steps MUST be completed to access the AP Classroom resources and/or order AP Exams. The entire process (both steps) can be completed in a single sitting in approximately 10 minutes.

  1. Complete the registration process that starts below through Total Registration.
  2. Enroll all your AP courses and exams in the College Board's MyAP system with the Join Codes you will receive at the end of this registration process. (Students-- You should have enrolled in myAP through your AP class, but if you have not completed this step, you need to do it now.)

 

AP Year-long courses and AP courses that begin the 1st Semester

The preferred deadline for ordering AP exams is Friday, October 22, 2021.  After this date, students can still register to take AP exams at Ball High School until 11:59pm, April 15, 2022.  If exams are ordered through Total Registration after Monday, November 8, 2021 there will be a $40 late fee in addition to the cost of the exam.  There is no cost for enrolling in AP courses, but the 2022 AP Exams cost $100 per exam.  Please keep in mind if you register for an AP exam after Monday, November 8, 2021, there will be a $40 late fee in addition to the exam fee.  The late fee is charged by College Board for ordering late.  Please read our refund policy as well.  This applies to any AP course that is year-long or any AP course that begins 1st semester.

 

AP courses that begin 2nd Semester (AP Government and AP Macroeconomics)

The preferred deadline for ordering AP exams is Friday, February 18, 2022.  After this date, students can still register to take AP exams at Ball High School until 11:59 pm, April 15, 2022.  If exams are ordered through Total Registration after Monday, March 7, 2022 there will be a $40 late fee in addition to the cost of the exam.  There is no cost for enrolling in AP courses, but the 2022 AP Exams cost $100 per exam.  Please keep in mind if you register for an AP exam after Monday, March 7, 2022 there will be a $40 late fee in addition to the exam fee.  The late fee is charged by College Board for ordering late.  Please read our refund policy as well. This applies to any AP course that begins during the 2nd semester (such as AP Government and AP Macroeconomics).

 

Students qualifying as Economically Disadvantaged will pay $13 per test.

 

A confirmation page indicates that the first step has been completed. The confirmation page will include the information needed to complete the second step of enrolling courses/exams in the College Board's system, MyAP.CollegeBoard.org. This step should be completed right away as exams will only be ordered if both steps are completed.

Ball High School is excited to offer families the ability to pay their exam fees online at the time of registration. Please be sure to have a credit card or debit card available before beginning registration.

Registrations made after 11:59PM, Monday, November 8, 2021 will incur a $40 late fee per exam.  This is for any class that begins during the 1st semester or is a year-long course.

Registrations made after 11:59PM, Monday, March 7, 2022 will incur a $40 late fee per exam.  This is for any class that begins during the 2nd semester only.  This mainly applies to AP Government and AP Macroeconomics.

AP exam registrations that are not fully paid by Monday, November 8, 2021 for 1st Semester and Year-Long classes will be canceled and exams will not be ordered.

AP exam registrations that are not fully paid by Monday, March 7, 2022 for 2nd Semester classes will be canceled and will not be ordered.

Students transferring to Ball High after registration deadlines are exempt from late fees.

Late fees are NOT covered by Galveston Career Connect (GCC).  Payment of additional fees is the sole responsibility of the student.
